Nine Days of ’09: Broken Bells

Danger Mouse is undoubtably one of the most influential producers of the last decade. From his historical “Grey Album” to working with bands like the Black Keys, and teaming up with Cee-Lo for Gnarls Barkley, this guy has been on the progressive end of music for a while. This time around he’s teamed up with The Shins’ James Mercer for Broken Bells, and they recently put out the single “The High Road” on their website for free. If this is any indication of what the upcoming album is going to sound like, it’ll be a must-listen for sure. Look out for the self-titled release coming out March 9, and here’s “The High Road” to help with the anticipiation
